Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)
This scripture is rather well known. But, did you hear what he says at the end? Not the great command part, but the words of hope?
“And surely, I am with you to the very end of the age.”
People feel hopeless. Why? Because they feel alone in our big scary world. The truth is we are never alone. We have a savior. A guide. A comforter and a friend!
This time of year can be very hope-less, and very lonely. Let’s commit to looking for those around us who could use a little hope. I promise you’ll feel better for sharing the hope we have of life with Jesus!
