This blog began four full years ago, when our very non-liturgical church began paying attention the tradition season of Advent. We lit candles, we recited prayers, we enjoyed art and built our weekly worship services around the themes of this centering season. And we wrote about it together, on this blog.
Most years, we’ve worked to link the themes and topics here with the lessons being shared each week in our assemblies. This year features a sermon series titled, “Covered With Joyful Light”, a series inspired by the Catholic concept of the Five Joyous Mysteries, a heading used to group five traditional Advent passages of Scripture.
Regardless of where you reside or spend your Sunday mornings, it is a true pleasure to have join us here. We hope your faith is nurtured, your spirit is stretched, and your heart is prepared for the coming One!
